today i got up and ran a mile. it was hard because there was a lot of hills. today is the first day of spring break!!! and what a wonderful day it is!!! the sky is blue and cloudless. the birds are chirping. the droplets of sun fall onto my skin. the air is fresh and invigorating. it feels like i woke up from a long sleep. now i feel FREE!!! free to run, laugh, play, be who i want to be. no more being mature...i am a child now. again. for eternity. it is a flawless and perfect day. i couldn't ask for better. i don't want to leave this perfect scene. it is all still. and i am thankful for it. when i woke up this morning i threw open my window and let the soft sunlight bask my face. it was so peaceful...beautiful...fresh...new...colorful. there is life once more! of the shooting at virginia tech... it was thougt only death could come from it...but for me it is not that...it is a new understanding and love for life. i have to live as today is my last. all this life around me is teaching me. new life...new spirit...new love...new heart...spring is a perfect time to start over...and be NEW.
